I’m so glad you’re here.

I am passionate about empowering nonspeakers, minimal speakers, and unreliable speakers and their parents or caregivers to build the regulation and motor skills necessary for reliable, open communication.

My “Why”

 

After watching the Spellers documentary, my world changed forever.

Although I held a master’s degree in education and had spent years working as an English teacher, college adjunct professor, and academic reading and writing tutor, I had no idea that spelled communication even existed — or that there are millions of nonspeakers currently trapped in a silent prison.

I knew then that I wanted to dedicate my career to helping others unlock their voices.

I have been fortunate to train directly under Spellers Method™ co-founders Dawnmarie Gaivin and Dana Johnson to earn my license as a Spellers Method Provider.

Along the way, I’ve had the privilege of connecting with the most incredible spellers and their families and caregivers, whose generosity, insight, and dedication continue to inspire and motivate me every day.

I am so grateful for the opportunity to work with such amazing spellers and their families.

Many of our spellers have spent years or even decades in silence, with no way to share their thoughts and feelings. That fact has got to change, and I want to help change it.
